Principality on location
Glorious sunshine, a sparkling frost and a huge sigh of relief that Thursday’s snow had melted away greeted the intrepid gang of volunteers as they arrived at Margam Park, Port Talbot, to help Principality create a new bit of TV history….
As part of our national sponsorships including rugby, football, and cultural events such as the Royal Welsh and the National Eisteddfod, Principality also sponsor all TV programmes aired on S4/C linked to these events.
This means our sponsorship allows us to place a series of short credits or ‘stings’ as they are often called, featuring our logo and key brand messages to S4/C viewers throughout the year.
Avid TV viewers will be all too familiar with the concept – just think, Talk, Talk and X-Factor or Harveys, the furniture store, and Coronation Street! Placed in between TV advertising and the programmes themselves.
This year we wanted to make our stings special, to reflect our very special anniversary year. So, on 20 February, Principality staff and volunteers took to the welsh mountains at Margam Park for a fun-packed day to create our new TV sting.
