Walkers rewarded with ice creams and goodie bags
Principality’s children’s mascot, Dylan the Dragon, stepped out to join Mum’s, Dad’s and children who took part in Llanelli’s Festival of Walks over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
The annual series of walks across Carmarthenshire were this year specifically designed to encourage and introduce children and Mum’s and Dad’s with buggies to the joys of walking.
Nearly 30 children completed the three special routes around the Millennium Coastal path on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
And to reward the walkers at the end of the route, Principality staff in Llanelli were on hand to provide ice creams and goodies bags – the perfect end to a family day out.
